Gawaine is the mother of Gawain. She was buried under the Glissingto Tor. She was in search of a unicorn to help cure her, as she was about to give birth and was half blind and was injured. Gawaine died because the unicorn could not help her. The unicorn was devistated and lay down to die next to her. The unicorn made the Scuffenbury Horse. The horse was acatually a unicorn but it's horn had been hidden by stones.
