Gudrun is a green female dragon that Tam Farrell purchased at The Healing Touch. She is described as having soppy green eyes, and at first Tam Farrel thinks she is a male. Gretel sent David's shape-shifting dragon, Groyne, to spy on Tam and impersonate Gudrun. Groyne hides her under an overturned cat bed owned by Jazz, and Jodie, Tam's girlfriend, finds her and abducts Groyne and takes them both to Zanna. Gudrun is not alive and there is many identical dragon figures (with the same name) that don't live either. It is possible that there is a living Gudrun and that Liz makes inanimate versions of all the special dragons to sell.
